Copy Cat

Whoever said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery was right! Country Living recently published an article called “Rustic Revival” and we’re just going to assume they got that term from us. Because we’re awesome. Country Living’s article really captures the essence of our “rustic revival” style although, it’s fair to say their pictures are a good mix of two styles: rustic revival and vintage modern.

Either way, we hope you enjoy. They will make you want to A) go camping B) eat s’mores C) get snuggly with your favorite person D) remodel your house using cool accessories that convey the idea that you’re a fun, relaxed person with a great eye for design. Go.

I’m grateful for finding the design style quiz through your site. But I’m having trouble finding resources on rustic revival. Are there books on it? Thank you

    Hi there!

We’re so glad that you like sproost and that you find it helpful! If you’re looking for resources on rustic revival some of my favorite books are:

    Flea Market Style
    Recycled Home
    Modern Country
    Urban Country

Additionally, some of my favorite vendors for this style (although flea markets and vintage stores are best!) are:

    Restoration Hardware
    West Elm
    Wisteria
    Jayson Home & Garden
    Sundance Home
    Viva Terra
    Anthropologie

    I hope this helps! Melissa
