Since our last post was all about Black Friday and our favorite black items, we thought we’d switch it up a bit and select some great items in white. Think snow, popcorn and marshmallows. Only happy thoughts. So please put the golf club down. Thanks. (Awe. Too soon?)![]()
Make your house photo shoot ready with a Fortuny Moda Floor Lamp. A bit on the pricy side at $4954 from Ylighting, this floor lamp was designed in 1907 by Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo. (Coincidentally, I encourage you to check out his site because his life was fascinating and he was an incredibly talented artist and designer.) The framework is in profiled steel and tubular steel with a titanium epoxy powder finish. The lampshade is beige cotton, with a white interior. It’s half nautical, half glamorous. But completely cool.

If you are in need of a stately sofa, look no further. The Aristocrat Sofa from Exclusively Home is available in black or white leather and is very reasonably priced at $1198. It has a very clean lines and it matches several design styles. However, I wouldn’t recommend this if you have a house full of marker-wielding toddlers… or loose-boweled dogs.

Good things come in threes and the Seneca Lake Cloverleaf Table does not disappoint. It’s just the right size for an end table, a night stand, a plant stand, or for other memorabilia and pictures. Plus, it’s pretty stinkin’ cute. I just want to pinch its cheeks!

Now and then we come across products that not only look great but they inspire us. The Kontur Rubber Vase, although small and simple, fits that category. With its soft, flexible material, Kontur surprises with a new experience every time you use it. Plus, it’s not just a vase, you can use it to store office supplies and beauty supplies. For only $35, I’m sure you can come up with lots of ways to display this vase in your home. Maybe now I will pay more attention to watering my flowers so I can display them. Although I hear dead flowers are making a comeback.
