Fellow Sproosters, after a long and lovely summer (Ok…and Fall) we are immersing ourselves in the here and now of cooler weather and even cooler design ideas. Here are a few things we learned about while we were on vacay:
Who needs a Moose Head? You do. ZGallerie is selling a white lacquer moose head and as strange as it sounds, it’s really a versatile piece. If your style is Rustic Revival or Cottage Chic…slip this bad boy over your bed for a statement or over your vanity for accessories. If you need something special for your man cave but the wife has a ban on taxidermy, this little fella will add some charm without the harm.

Etsy is still awesome. Check out these kick ace Linoleum Prints of vintage cameras from seller Tomboy. Hang them in your office or your living room for a subtle retro look.

Leather floor tiles from Ecodomo. They’re wicked cool looking, feel amazing under your tootsies, and since they’re recycled from furniture scraps, shoe factories, and other industries, there’s no need to worry. Bessie was not taken out in a pasture and sacrificed for your floor.

The Womb Chair. Yes, that’s what I said. If the bright orange color doesn’t make you smile, the name should at least make you giggle like a 4th grader. Also guaranteed to induce naps.

Snuggies for Dogs are excusable if your dog is little, partially hairless, and you live in Alaska. If you are a human, please note that Snuggies are not flattering, do not match any design décor you could possibly have in your home (unless you are 65 years old and all you wear is leopard print and gold lame), and they may cause an irresistible urge to “raise the roof” while you’re watching TV with your family. Awkward.
