all warm and cozy

The holidays are right around the corner and that means you are either planning to A) go spend time with family and friends, B) host a holiday party at your house, or C) watch re-runs of the Golden Girls all weekend, never get out of your pajamas, and order take-out Chinese food.

Whatever works.

Cold weather makes me think of fireplaces and lots of yummy food so I compiled a few items for you that for one reason or another make me think happy thoughts about the holidays.

These Organic-Shaped Salad Plates from West Elm remind me of snowflakes. They will work year-round of course, but I think they’d be especially nice decorated with a big slice of pumpkin pie.

And no fireplace is complete without a soft blanket to snuggle up in. These faux fur throws, also from West Elm, look amazingly warm and cozy. The only thing better than owning one of these would be if it was hand-delivered by the sexiest man alive. Now where’s the damn mistletoe?

If you want to show a little love to your door, Martha Stewart Wreaths could do the trick. K-Mart has a great selection of Martha Stewart holiday pieces, but this was my favorite.

And let’s not forget, you have to dress the part, too. This Urban Outfitters Klaus Sweater is attention grabbing (boobs, attention…but whatever).

If that doesn’t get you the attention you so dearly deserve, bring your own mistletoe. Puppy kisses are better than no kisses at all.
